in Efringen-Kirchen, a failed attempt at burglary was reported to a kiosk on Bahnhofstrasse on the night of June 6, 2025. An attentive witness heard suspicious noises around 2:05 a.m. and immediately informed the police. When the emergency services arrived, it turned out that the perpetrators had already fled.

The burglars had hit a fist -sized hole in the window of the front door, but could not penetrate the kiosk. Despite a immediately initiated search with several police patrols, the search for the perpetrators was unsuccessful. The police asks the population for clues to the incident.
