Successful exercise: District fire brigade Oldenburg shines at the trial alarm
On Wednesday evening at 5:50 p.m., the specialist train for vegetation fire fighting from the district fire brigade Oldenburg was alerted. The aim of this exercise was to test the promotion of the train under realistic conditions. The process went smoothly: the emergency services initially met in Sandkrug and then went to the Feuerweitung headquarters (FTZ) in Ganderkesee.
The idea of new vehicles, including a brand new UTV (Utility Task Vehicle) and a VW Amarok, was particularly impressive. This unit is part of the 7-hour willingness of the Oldenburg Fire Brigade Association. The trial alarm checked the entire alarm path and the time span to marching - with consistently positive result! After the exercise, the vehicles were loaded, and a joint exchange with meals took place in Sandkrug.
