In an exciting effort, the Cologne police arrested two alleged bicycle thieves in the Müngersdorf district on Wednesday evening. The men, 28 and 31 years old, are suspected of stolen a bike in Dansweilerweg and loaded into a vehicle with a British license plate.

The dramatic arrest occurred after a hint from the neighborhood: residents observed the suspicious activities and immediately alerted the police. Thanks to a quick search, the emergency services were able to track down the two men on the nearby Manstedter Weg. During the search, the police found the stolen bike near the crime scene - it was parked on a garage, with the front wheel was already removed, obviously ready for transport.
