Bicycle accident in Offenbach: racing cyclist seriously injured!

Offenbach, Deutschland - in Offenbach there was a serious accident between two cyclists on the bike path along the Herrnrainweg on Wednesday. A 21-year-old racing cyclist who was traveling towards Frankfurt lost control in a right curve and collided with a 27-year-old cyclist. The racing cyclist fell and pulled serious head and shoulder injuries. He was taken to the hospital for medical care, while his racing bike, a black model, was damaged by the force of the impact - the property damage amounts to around 5,000 euros. The other cyclist had only minor damage to his front wheel, the value of which is estimated at around 100 euros. Witnesses of the accident are asked to report to the police.

Another incident occurred on Bieberer Straße, where a 16-year-old youth is said to have tried to snatch her backpack to a 50-year-old passer-by. When this failed, he slapped the woman in the face several times and stepped on the ground. Thanks to a police officer who happened to be nearby, the attacker could be caught. In addition, a 33-year-old truck driver was arrested in a rear-end collision on Autobahn 3, to whom a wrong driver's license was proven. The accident also led to slightly injured people and a considerable property damage of around 25,000 euros.
