On Tuesday, June 10th, a dramatic motorcycle accident occurred on Altenberger-Dom-Straße in Odenthal. Around 11:45 a.m., police officers noticed several vehicles on the edge of the road during their patrol ride. The alarmed officials learned that a 44-year-old learner driver had an accident with her motorcycle at a hour of driving and had fallen over a railing.

The driving instructor who drove behind her had ordered her to turn left onto Altenberger-Dom-Strasse. Suddenly the student accelerated and crashed head -on against a railing, from where she plunged about five meters deep into the sidewalk of an underpass. The police initially initiated first aid measures were initiated and an ambulance was called. The road had to be closed for around an hour to recording the accident. The investigation of the traffic commissioner is in progress.
