Driving in Koblenz: Drunk chauffeur controls through a pedestrian zone!

On May 29, 2025, an alcoholic driver and his black Chrysler provided chaos in downtown Koblenz. Around 1:40 p.m., the man first drove the street "An der Liebfrauenkirche" towards Münzplatz before he raced and backwards into the market road. He collided with the outdoor seating of two restaurants. The risky mistake continued over several streets, including "Braugasse" and "Burgstraße" until police officers could stop him.

Fortunately, it remained with a slightly injured passerby. The police continue to ask for information from witnesses and possible injuries who have observed the incident. Witnesses can report on 0261-92156-300 to support the investigation.
