On Wednesday afternoon, June 11th, there was a tragic accident on Autobahn 31 towards Bottrop, in which a 34-year-old was fatally ancricted. The incident occurred shortly before the Borken junction when a 57-year-old truck driver collided frontally with the man's BMW, who was traveling in the opposite direction as a false driver.

According to the first investigation, the BMW driver had driven the highway on the wrong lane, which led to this devastating collision. The Recklinghausen police have already sent a traffic accident team to precisely reconstruct the course of the accident. The investigation is underway to clarify the exact circumstances of this fatal incident.
