on Thursday evening, May 29, 2025, there was a scandalous incident at the May Festival in the South Weinstrasse. A 31-year-old man hit the face of a 24-year-old festival visitor after a verbal exchange of blows had previously been made. The police have initiated criminal proceedings against the attacker, who also insulted the woman with great insults.

At the same time, a chaotic argument occurred in the Weinstrasse North when a 54-year-old from the West Palatinate urinated against a court gate. When the house owner denounced the behavior, the 40-year-old friend interfered. There were violentness in which the friend suffered a painful nasal bone fracture and had to go to the hospital. The 54-year-old then damaged flower pot and the court gate. When the officers gave him a dismissal, he also insulted them. Criminal investigations are now underway against him.
