Festival raid in Quarnstedt: 21 drivers caught at the wheel under drugs!

On Monday morning, the police forces of the district area Heide, together with officials from Itzehoe and Brunsbüttel, carried out a large-scale control at the outcome of a techno and Goa festival in Quarnstedt. Between 7:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., around 80 drivers were checked on the influence of alcohol and drugs.

The result? Shocking 21 drivers had to be removed from blood samples because there was suspicion of into influence into intoxicating means. These drivers are now faced with an administrative offense procedure, which could not only result in sensitive fines, but also driving bans. The police authorities make it clear: Whoever celebrates should also act responsibly!
