Arrest at Halle Central Station: Searched man with weapons and drugs!

On Friday, May 23, 2025, a 23-year-old man in the Halle Central Station (Saale) was checked by a patrol of the federal police. It quickly became clear that the Leipzig public prosecutor was looking for him by warrant. The young man had not paid for the penalty of 160 euros, convicted of theft, nor started his 20-day compensation sentence. The arrest warrant had been issued on the basis of this failure.

In the control, the man also had a one -hand knife, a telescopic stroke and a small amount of presumed amphetamines, which will lead to further legal consequences. In a desperate attempt to free himself from the situation, he had a friend paid for the fine at a federal police station in Leipzig, so that he was finally able to continue his journey. Nevertheless, an additional complaint about violations of the Weapons and Narcotics Act awaits him. The officials informed the competent authority about the execution of the arrest warrant.
