Around 2:30 p.m., a 36-year-old tenant heard a loud bang on Manitiusstraße and discovered fire on her balcony. She immediately alerted the fire brigade and police while she left the apartment together with her three guests-two women aged 32 and 35 and a 32-year-old man.

While the fire brigade arrived quickly and deleted the fire, two construction workers who worked nearby had already attempted extinguishing. Fortunately, it remained with respiratory problems for which the rescue workers provided on -site medical help. Now the fire commissioner of the State Criminal Police Office is taking over the investigation into suspected serious arson.
