In the early morning hours, residents in Kreuzberg were alerted by a loud bang and a vehicle fire that broke out on Lobeckstrasse around 4:15 a.m. The fire brigade and police hurried to the site, where they found two completely burned -out Renault and a badly damaged Nissan.

According to the first investigations, the fire is covered by one of the Renaults to the other vehicles, which draws attention to suspicion of arson. A fire commissioner from the Berlin State Criminal Police Office has started the investigation to get to the bottom of the reason for the devastating fire.
