Feuerdrama in Offenbach: A dead at apartment fire!

Offenbach am Main, Deutschland - yesterday evening, shortly after 8:45 p.m., a devastating fire broke out in an apartment building on Offenbacher Strasse. The fire brigade had to intervene immediately when they discovered that an ground floor apartment was already burning in light. Thanks to their rapid use, the flames could be prevented to spread to adjacent apartments. Around 30 residents were evacuated, some of them had to be saved using a ladder.

Despite the rescue campaigns, a 34-year-old woman from the affected apartment later succumbed to the fatal consequences of the fire. Dimensions were taken to a hospital as a precaution due to flue gas inhalation. The causes of the fire are currently still unclear, the investigation is underway.
