Fire brigade Bochum: Large deployment because of a burning gazebo!

On Saturday afternoon, around 3:10 p.m., there was a spectacular fire between Harpener Straße and the railway line in Bochum: a gazebo burned light -fashioned and created a massive smoke development. Several callers alerted the fire brigade, which was quickly on site. The emergency services discovered the fire and found that the flames had already spread to the adjacent embankment.

With two jet pipes, the fire was quickly contained and further spread was successfully prevented. However, the post -extinguishing work was challenging because, due to the steeply steeply, they could only be carried out with portable ladders. After about two hours the assignment was over, luckily there were no injuries.
