The Düsseldorf fire brigade started with a large contingent after the emergency call entered the control center around 5 p.m. The first emergency services arrived within a few minutes and immediately discovered a strong smoke development from the building.
In view of the advanced fire spread and the acute risk of collapse, the operations manager decided to combat the fire exclusively from the outside. Thanks to the brave and rapid intervention of the fire brigade, further spreading of the fire was successfully prevented and the residents remained intact.
