Fire brigade Erkrath celebrates outstanding services at the annual general meeting

At the annual general meeting of the Erkrath fire brigade on May 20, 2025, the balance sheet was drawn: a total of 10,848 missions - an increase of 11.34 % compared to the previous year! Fire chief Guido Vogt welcomed numerous guests, including Mayor Christoph Schultz and representative of other blue light organizations. Particularly noteworthy are the new promotions: Maximilian Bille, Alessio Castronovo and Tobias Mechsner were promoted to firefighters, while Leon Fischer and Pascal Hengstermann are now underneath.

honors for 25 and 35 years of active service were awarded to Ron Bambrowicz and Guido Söhnchen, while many members were also honored for their many years of belonging. The youth fire brigade also showed success with new awards. The evening ended with a sociable get -together and culinary delights in the foyer of the town hall.
