Fire brigade Hermannsburg celebrates the foundation festival with impressive honors!

On Monday evening, May 26th, the Hermannsburg base fire brigade celebrated an impressive foundation festival, led by local fire chief Sascha von Hörsten. On this special occasion, numerous members of the active weir, the age department and sponsors came together to honor the fire brigade. Mayor Katharina Ebeling and other important guests such as the municipal fire chief Henning Sander were also present. The steadily increasing number of operations emphasized from Hörsten: 62 missions last year and already 25 this year. In addition, a state -of -the -art drone was presented, which was financed by the support association.

Main fire brigade Verena Jans received the Lower Saxony fire brigade honor for 25 years of service, while chief firefighter Otto Kuschnig was honored for his impressive 50 years of membership. Historical moment: The Hermannsburg fire brigade is now managed by a leadership! Torben Melzer was promoted to chief extinguishing master and Sascha von Hörsten to chief fire chief. An exciting evening for the fire brigade and its members!
