Fire Brigade Mülheim: Dramatic underground car park and basement fire on Whit Monday

On Monday afternoon, a fire broke out in the underground car park of a commercial object on Neckarstrasse around 4:50 p.m. A car caught fire, after which three people present immediately intervened with fire extinguishers and tried to fight the fire. The fire brigade rushed quickly and led the three people to safety after they were examined by the emergency services. Fortunately, hospital treatment was not necessary. The fire was deleted within around 100 minutes and the garage was extracted with high -performance fans.

Later, around 7:45 p.m., the fire brigade reached another emergency call about a basement fire in Wilhelm-Storck-Straße. Here there was a fire in a power storage system that spread out at lightning speed. Citizens were also active here and carried out the first attempts to extinguish. One person was slightly injured in the incident and hospitalized. Firefighters immediately came to the fire fighting and ensured that all dangerous components were brought outside and the risk of another inflammation was immersed in water tanks. Both missions were successfully completed after 100 minutes each.
