Munich fire brigade in action: large -scale deployment after underground garage fire!

In the night of May 24, 2025, several dramatic fire brigade operations occurred in Munich. Water damage in a residential and commercial building on Ernst-Reuter-Straße was reported at 3:37 a.m. when hot water escaped from a line and dripped into the floor below. While the emergency services were not to complain, the exact amount of damage remained unclear.

The same evening, around midnight, a fire broke out in a carport in Hansastraße in the Westpark. Passers -by alerted the fire brigade, which intervened with four troops under heavy respiratory protection. After about an hour, “fire” was reported, but considerable damage was created on a forklift and catering materials in the carport.

The next large -scale operation followed on May 25th at 5:55 p.m. in the Moosach district, where massive clouds of smoke rose from an underground car park on Riesstrasse. A shock troop was able to delete the VW bus in flames within ten minutes, but the subsequent ventilation work dragged on for almost two hours. Fortunately, all emergency services and residents remained unharmed, while the amount of damage is still unknown.
