On the evening of June 3, 2025, the emergency services were called for a fire in a deportation facility in Hof. At 7.30 p.m., the fire brigade and rescue workers received the report via several room fires with heavy smoke development. In the incident, two people were slightly injured and the police assume deliberate arson. The suspects are a 26-year-old Moroccan and a 19-year-old Tunisian who were housed in the affected cells.
