Container fire on the Harkortberg: Fire brigade saves club house in front of Rauch!

In the night of Tuesday, at 11:30 p.m., the fire brigade Wetter (Ruhr) was alerted to a burning dumpster on the Harkortberg. When they arrive, the residual waste container was in full fire. The volunteers immediately moved in with respiratory protection and deleted the flames. The fire goods were then pulled apart to ensure that no embers remained.

Together with a responsible person of the local football club, the fire brigade checked the club house to clarify whether Rauch had penetrated through an open window. Fortunately, this was not confirmed, and the whole mission was successfully ended after about 60 minutes. The police were also on site to determine the cause of the fire.
