on Saturday, May 31, 2025, a fire broke out in a semi -detached house in the street "Unter the village" around 10:45 a.m. The integrated rescue control center Montabaur immediately alerted the police, which, however, learned that all residents could leave the house unharmed before the fire brigade was arrived.

The fire has already led to considerable property damage to the building, but the exact height of which is still unclear. The volunteer fire brigade's extinguishing work are underway.
