Drama in Schenefeld: Flames Inferno charred six regular buses!

A devastating fire on a depot in Schenefeld caused dramatic scenes on Sunday, June 8, 2025! Six regular buses went completely on fire while another bus was damaged. The fire brigade successfully fought the flames and prevented the fire from spreading even further.

operations manager Tomas Berens reported violent fire developments on site. Due to the massive smoke development, an urgent population warning was given through the modular warning system (Mowas): windows and doors should be closed immediately! Emergency power suffered minor injuries during the extinguishing work and was taken to the hospital for examination.

The criminal police have now started the cause of the fire, while the fire brigade cannot yet pass on any information on the possible damage. A total of around 60 firefighters and numerous vehicles were in use.
