Dramatic apartment fire in Wangen: Fire brigade saves two children!

This morning a dramatic apartment fire occurred in Transylvania in Wangen, which was alerted around 9:30 a.m. Immediately after the fire brigade arrived, the flames hit the windows of the first floor, while enormous smoke development darkened the sky. The fire brigade used several attack troops to quickly control the fire stove in the semi -detached house. Thanks to the quick response, the fire could be spread to the roof structure.

In a heroic effort, two carpenters who became aware of the call for help managed to save two toddlers from the heavily smoky children's room. The children who were in danger were then brought to a clinic together with their mother. Around 60 fire brigade forces, supported by the DRK, were on site and enabled the fire fighting early. The police have started the investigation into the cause of the fire and the damage incurred.
