Fire in the Alfter building yard: Dramatic use of the fire brigade in Impekoven!

During the night of Sunday there was a fire in the vehicle and equipment hall of the municipal building yard in Alfter impekoven, which led to considerable damage to property. The fire brigade was alerted around 1:00 a.m. after employees of the building yard discovered the fire. A construction vehicle in the hall burned under a thick cloud of smoke.

Thanks to the rapid reaction of several respiratory protection teams, the emergency services managed to quickly control the fire and prevent further spread. Nevertheless, the flames and the heat caused serious damage to the hall and the vehicles parked there.
