Fire in paint shop in Laar: Fast use saves the situation!

on Monday evening, at 6:58 p.m., broke out a fire in a paint shop in Laar on Timmerweg. The flame eruption was caused by a paper towel that was soaked with silicone remover, while cleaning work took place on an excavator hood.

The alarmed fire brigade reacted quickly and was able to control the fire, which prevented the flames from spreading to other parts of the paint shop. Fortunately, nobody was injured, but the amount of property damage incurred is still unclear.
