On the evening of 6:15 p.m., the Mainz fire brigade was alerted - a fire in a fast snack on Forsterstraße had broken out! When the emergency services arrived, flames and dense smoke already beat out of the restaurant. The firefighters immediately intervened and started fighting fire.

Equipped with respiratory masks, a squad fought against the fire, while a turntable ladder took control of the upper floors to ensure that all residents were safe. Fortunately, there were no injuries, and all people could be evacuated in good time. However, the fire brigade urged: Never extinguish yourself in the event of a fire if there is a risk! Always call the fire brigade in an emergency and get to safety!
