in Hamburg-Hohenfelde broke out a devastating fire in the Marienkrankenhaus on the night of June 1, 2025, which required a massive use of fire brigade and emergency services. Shortly after midnight, the rescue control center reported the alarm, and four fire trucks and a large contingent of emergency services were immediately mobilized. When the first firefighters arrived, a patient room on the ground floor burned light -fashioned, while smoke and flames were threatening to rip over the facade into the room on the first floor.

The Situation was dramatic: several people could not leave their rooms due to the thick -tasted smoke. The emergency services desperately saved patients over aerial ladders and portable ladders.
