Fire brigade Gladbeck raises the alarm: dishwasher in flames!

on Tuesday evening, May 27, 2025, the Gladbeck fire brigade was called to a dangerous apartment fire in a row house on Strickholtstraße at 8:59 p.m. A fire truck of the full-time fire and rescue station as well as support from voluntary fire departments from Rentfort and Zweckel were quickly on site.

quickly turned out that the flames hit the kitchen from an overheated dishwasher. With a quick and targeted use of the C-pipe, the fire was deleted quickly before it could spread further. Fortunately, all residents remained unharmed. As a precaution, the emergency services examined all those present, but there were no injuries or flue gas poisoning.
