Fire brigade saves resident from a burning apartment in Solingen-Wald!

A dramatic room fire shook Lilienstraße in Solingen Wald early Wednesday morning! The fire brigade was alerted at 07:12 - human lives were in danger! 34 firefighters rush to the site, where thick swaths of smoke filled the staircase and a person was suspected in the fire room. The Wald volunteer fire brigade was immediately consulted.

When the rescuers arrived there was a light -loved one on the second floor. Fortunately, the resident could be saved quickly and transported to the hospital. But the danger was not yet banned: firefighters took care of two adults and three children in the neighboring apartment, while the flames were fought with full strength. The apartment is now temporarily uninhabitable because the electrical system was badly damaged by the fire. Rembrandstraße had to be closed during the mission, which led to great traffic disruptions. The rapid use of the fire brigade prevented worse!
