Apolloniemarkt, 18439 Stralsund, Deutschland - on June 2, 2025, around 5:00 p.m., a smell of gas in the old town area on the Apolloniemarkt caused excitement. The operations control center of the Neubrandenburg police headquarters received an alarm that pointed out that gas may run in a residential and commercial building. For security reasons, around 30 people from the affected shops and apartments were evacuated.

The Stralsund professional fire brigade immediately moved out and checked the premises. Fortunately, the fire brigade was able to quickly give the all -clear and classify the Situation as harmless. The evacuation was without incidents.
