On Friday, June 6th, shortly after 4:45 p.m., a deployment of the fire brigade and police in Trier-Ehrang caused excitement. In the Schiffstraße, an initially unknown substance escaped from a package, which immediately raised the emergency services alarm and unlocked the affected area.

After a careful inspection, the firefighters quickly found that it was a harmless liquid. The authorities confirmed that there was no danger to the population, which calmed down the concerned residents.
