In a terrifying incident, a fire broke out on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 1:10 p.m. on the balcony of a residential building on Hanns-Fay-Straße in Frankenthal. The fire brigade was able to extinguish the flames in good time before attacking the floors above.

Unfortunately, four residents of the house suffered minor injuries due to flue gas intertoxics. The affected apartment and an adjacent residential unit are now uninhabitable.
