Large fire use: room fire in Remscheid-all unharmed!

on Wednesday morning, around 8:40 a.m., the Remscheid fire brigade was called to a dramatic fire in Freiheitsstraße. Several concerned callers reported on drastic smoke from a residential building. The emergency services immediately made their way to the place of the action.

When they arrive, two people could be saved from the building. Both were immediately examined by the emergency services for possible flue gas poisoning, but fortunately there were no injuries - a gratifying end in a tense situation! After the first control, the stairwells and adjacent apartments were checked for possible smoke spread. Ultimately, targeted ventilation measures ensured that the building could be quickly made again.
