Large apartment fire in Hamm: Fire brigade saves life under clouds of smoke!

In a dramatic effort, the Hamburg fire brigade fought on June 3, 2025 against a devastating fire in a four -storey residential building on Eiffestrasse. Around 7:13 p.m., an apartment fire was reported on the second floor, the flames of which attacked the third floor. At this point, some residents were still in the apartments and on the windows, which also made the situation dangerous.

Due to the strong smoke development, a population warning was immediately triggered. A total of up to 50 firefighters and rescue workers were used for around three hours to combat the fire and save human life. After successfully deleting the fire, re -extinguishing work and ventilation measures began. The Hamburg police took over the investigation into the cause of the fire after the site was secured.
