Large exercise of the fire brigade: Savior training in kindergarten!

On Saturday morning, the units of the South fire brigade of the Iserlohn volunteer fire brigade and the emergency services of the DRK Hagen 04 were alerted to a major exercise in Lössel. A simulated fire in a kindergarten in the street "Zur Friedensiche" led to a dramatic effort when dense smoke came out of the building and several people were missing. Due to the critical situation, the alarm keyword was increased on fire 2 and a MANV 20 (mass attack of injured) was proclaimed.

A preliminary patient shelf was quickly set up near the site, where the supposed victims were spotted and first looked after. The DRK, supported by a total of 20 emergency services and 11 vehicles from the region, took over the care and transport of the patients for further treatment. In this impressive deployment, a total of 30 firefighters from the extinguishing groups were upper green, kesbern, lovers and undergrowns with four emergency vehicles and a command vehicle on site, together with 17 young people and supervisors of the Youth Red Cross.
