Heating shed burns in Ticino: Fast reaction prevents worse!

on Friday evening, around 7:30 p.m., the residents of Ticino Gildelandstrasse experienced an exciting commitment of the police and fire brigade when a heating room of a row house went on fire. The alarmed owners noticed the rising smoke and, thanks to their own fire extinguishers, were initially able to prevent worse. The volunteer fire brigade Ticino and Prangendorf ultimately deleted the embers and prevented the fire from spreading to adjacent buildings.

The property damage amounts to around 10,000 euros, although an adjacent scalist on the neighboring property was easily damaged. The permanent crime police were used the same evening to clarify the cause of the fire. Initial investigations indicate a technical defect that could be responsible for the outbreak of fire.
