Head of the fire brigade Voerde: Dog from burning apartment saved!

Feuerwehr Voerde was called to a room fire in Hindenburgstrasse on the evening of 7:03 p.m. The flames blazed on the first floor of a two -family house and a dog was missing in the fire apartment. With impressive use and under respiratory protection, the two teams started looking for the animal resident. Fortunately, the dog was saved unharmed and handed over to its overjoyed owners.

Thanks to the rapid intervention of the fire brigade, which was on site with around 30 emergency services, the fire could be spread to other parts of the building. No people were injured, but the apartment is currently uninhabitable. The cause of the fire is now determined by the police, while the traffic situation nearby was affected during the extinguishing work. The use lasted about 1.5 hours.
