Heroic deed in Heidelberg: Mother and son extinguish the fire!

on Wednesday evening, around 10:30 p.m., an apartment fire was reported in an apartment building in the Emmert Grundpassage in Heidelberg. The 47-year-old resident and her 20-year-old son were able to extinguish the fire before the fire brigade and police arrived, so that an evacuation of the house was not necessary.

The Heidelberg professional fire brigade identified as a fire burned on the stove, which set the extractor hood on fire and partially damaged the kitchenette. Fortunately, no larger building damage arose. In addition to the professional fire brigade, the emergency services and the Heidelberg volunteer fire brigade were also on site to support in an emergency.
