on Tuesday evening, May 27th, five young people caused excitement on a playground in Pohlheim when they were caught grilling. Despite the warning of a witness regarding the risk of fire, they ignored the request and caused considerable damage through a disposable grill: a table was destroyed and a garbage can inflamed. The fire brigade had to intervene, but fortunately nobody was harmed. The young people who are said to be between 15 and 16 years old have so far been unidentified. Witnesses are asked to report to the criminal police at 0641/7006-6555.

In addition, on Saturday, May 31, an attempted burglary in an apartment building in the street in the Hain was registered. An unknown person tried to break up the house entrance door and injured himself when he destroyed glass elements of an apartment door. The burglar fled without penetrating the apartment. Between 8:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., another crime occurred on Wilhelmstrasse, where a perpetrator entered an apartment and stole cash and jewelry via a roof terrace. Here, too, the investigators are in front of a riddle and are urgently looking for witnesses.
