Fireplace fire in Paderborn: Fire brigade saves without fire expansion!

On Wednesday evening, May 28, 2025, the fire brigade Paderborn was called to a reported room fire at Wigbertstraße at 8:57 p.m. The caller reported the district control center of a fireplace fire, which triggered a quick reaction of the full-time forces of the fire and rescue guards north and south as well as the voluntary unit of city center. However, the operation could already be canceled during the journey because it turned out that there was no fire.

Thanks to the rapid all -clear, there was no fire spread. A total of 12 emergency services were deployed, including several fire engines. The entire use lasted about 90 minutes.
