Kitchen fire in Oberhausen: Happiness in misfortune in the event of a housing emergency!

In a dramatic deployment, the Oberhausen fire brigade was called to an apartment fire in an apartment building on the Flandersstrasse at around 9:50 a.m. The control center raised the alarm when it was unclear whether people were still in the affected apartment. Fortunately, the residents had left the building in good time when the emergency services arrived. Dense swaths of smoke penetrated from windows on the first floor, but two troops under breathing protection were able to quickly extinguish the fire in the kitchen and prevent the fire from spreading.

The strong smoke and soot development damaged other parts of the apartment that is now uninhabitable. The police have already investigated the cause of the fire. The good news: the fire was triggered by a burned toast, so that the fire brigade intervened was not necessary in this case. The fire brigade was able to quickly give the all -clear and bring the situation under control.
