Kitchen fire and chicken coop in Garrel: Fire brigade in action!

On Thursday, June 5, 2025, several fire incidents occurred in Garrel, which the fire brigade kept up. At 11:13 a.m., a kitchen fire broke out in an apartment on Kaiforter Straße when a pot on the stove opened on the stove. Fortunately, all residents were unharmed, and the Garrel volunteer fire brigade could prevent worse things.

In the afternoon, around 5:40 p.m., a chicken coop was on fire in the garden of a single -family house on Wittekindsweg. The stable burned almost completely, while adjacent houses were luckily undamaged. The owner who tried to extinguish the fire himself suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital in Löningen by an ambulance. The fire brigade Löningen was able to stop the spread of the fire in good time. So far there is no information about the amount of the damage.
