Massive garage fire in Hambrücken: Fire brigade saves residents!

in Hambrücken, a dramatic fire in a locksmith's shop caused a stir on Saturday evening. Around 9:30 p.m., the fire brigade reported the fire alarm in the Upper Brühlstrasse. When the emergency services arrived, it turned out that the entire workshop was on fire and several gas bottles were at risk. Thanks to the rapid intervention of the fire brigade, supported by weirs from Graben-Neudorf, Hambrücken, Forst, Waghäusel and Bruchsal, the worst could be prevented. The pressure reducers of the gas bottles were removed and an evacuation of the surrounding buildings has been initiated.

The damage incurred is estimated at over 100,000 euros, luckily there were no injuries. The main street had to be closed during the extinguishing work. The police have started the cause of the fire.
