Motorcycle accident in Senheim: Two Dutch seriously injured!

On Sunday afternoon, June 8, 2025, a dramatic motorcycle accident occurred on the L200 in Senheim, about 50 meters behind the confluence with the L98. A 65-year-old driver from the Netherlands lost control of his motorcycle at an unadjusted speed and raced down the embankment. Fortunately, the motorcycle did not hit trees, but both the driver and his passenger suffered serious but not life -threatening injuries.

For the rescue of the two Dutchman, a rescue helicopter, two emergency doctors, two ambulances, two police patrols and the Grenderich volunteer fire brigade were deployed. The motorcycle was recovered by a towing service that caused total damage. The L200 was completely blocked for the duration of the accident.
