Nine new breathing apparatus wearers: fire brigade Werne shines in training!

Werne, Deutschland - In the last two weekends, the Werne volunteer fire brigade has successfully trained nine new breathing apparatus wearers. Under the direction of Thorsten Friedrich and his team of trainers, the young firefighters mastered a demanding exercise in the fire service center of the Unna district service. Here they had to move in complete darkness through a demanding labyrinth of corridors and shafts, while they were only equipped with the air of a breathing air bottle - a real hardening training for the prospective lifesaver!

The course not only brought brilliant results in the theoretical examination, which covered topics such as breathing toxins and tactical procedures, but also in practical implementation. The fire brigades from Werne and Selm were proud of the performance of their new members and offered not only support during the course, but also a solemn greeting and farewell. A big step for the fire brigade, which also benefits the population!
