Neuss remains intact: only three missions in violent storms!

Neuss, Deutschland - thunderstorms rage over North Rhine-Westphalia, but Neuss is spared! On Saturday, May 31, 2025, the huge storm front brought only three weather -related missions for the Neuss fire brigade. In Furth and Rosellen, two trees fell under the pressure of violent wind gusts. The fire brigade acted quickly and cleared the streets immediately.

But that wasn't everything! The Neuss fire brigade also showed its operational readiness beyond the city limits. From 11:53 p.m., the brave emergency services supported the city of Krefeld. They were on duty until the early hours of the morning to cope with numerous storm operations. At around 8:00 a.m., the fire brigade finally returned to its usual tasks. An impressive example of teamwork and helpfulness in difficult times!
