B39 Abfahrt Hanhofen-West, 67117 Hanhofen, Deutschland - on Wednesday morning, June 4, 2025, a fire broke out on a car when it was traveling at the Hanhofen-West/Harthausen departure at the B39 roundabout. The driver was able to save himself from the burning vehicle immediately and alert the fire brigade. Thanks to the rapid response from the emergency services, the fire was quickly deleted without other road users in danger.

The first investigations indicate a technical defect because the fire broke out in the engine compartment of the vehicle. Despite the dramatic incident, the driver was unharmed.
