Elise-Averdieck-Straße, 27356 Rotenburg (Wümme), Deutschland - A triggered smoke detector in a nursing home on Elise Aieck-Straße alerted the fire brigade and rescue workers in Rotenburg (Wümme) shortly before 8 p.m. Due to the visible branded sign and the danger to possible residents, a large contingent of emergency services was immediately mobilized - a total of around 160 emergency services with 27 vehicles from various weirs.

A respiratory protection team immediately made its way to the affected apartment of the former hospital site, where there had been smoke development due to burned objects on the stove. Fortunately, the person living there could be brought outside and unharmed. Speed ​​and precision of the emergency services prevented worse. The assignment was successfully completed at 9:15 p.m. Although there were no injuries, the fire brigade could not provide any information about possible damage.
