Huge fire in Leopoldshafen: Fire brigade prevents worse!

A dramatic fire fire shook the apartment building on Mannheimer Strasse in Leopoldshafen on Wednesday afternoon! Shortly after 11:30 a.m. there was a fire in the kitchen of a 21-year-old resident that apparently broke out when cooking. The flame certificate quickly spread to the adjacent rooms and put the residents on alert.

But the fire brigade was quickly on hand and was able to extinguish the inferno in good time before it could spread to other apartments or buildings. Greater damage was thus prevented! The first estimates put the property damage at around 150,000 euros. Fortunately, material losses remained, and no people were injured.
